Avi Bortnick built the On Foot app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Avi Bortnick and is intended for use as is. All fitness tracking and step data are processed and stored locally on your device.

1. Health and Fitness Data (Mandatory Disclosure)

On Foot is a step-counting app. To provide its core functionality, the app accesses the following data:

  • Physical Activity: The app uses your device’s motion sensors (Activity Recognition) to track steps locally.
  • Health Connect: If you choose to enable this feature, the app will read step data from Google Health Connect to provide a unified view of your movement.

  • We do not transmit, store, or share your health or fitness data with any external servers or third parties.
  • Medical Disclaimer: This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is a simple step counter, for information only.

2. Personal and Usage Data

  • Personal Data: The app does not require a login. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any identifying information.
  • Tracking: We do not track your activities or use any advertising IDs.

3. Technical Data (Crash Logs)

To help fix bugs and improve stability, the app may share anonymous technical crash logs with the Google Play Console. This data is non-identifying and includes technical details such as device model and OS version.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not store your personal or health data on any servers, there is no data for us to delete. If you wish to clear your history, you can do so within the app settings or by clearing the app’s local data in your Android system settings.
